The contractor undertook to complete the works within 365 days of commissioning. The works include the installation of dedicated paths and special lighting, so that the interior of the cave is accessible to tourists, while preserving its exceptional natural values and decorations. Also, the planned facilities represent the exit station of the cable car, from which visitors will enter the cave with a special path.

The first phase of arranging the cave and building service facilities in front of it, was agreed with company "Novi Volvoks" at the end of March, and value of that part of the work is EUR 2 million.

The tourist valorisation of the Đalovića Cave is one of the most valuable projects of the Government of Montenegro, which will completely change this part of the Municipality of Bijelo Polje and make it recognisable in the region and Europe. The contracted value of all works amounts to EUR 23 million.

Asphalting and other final works on the 5.7 kilometer-long road Bistrica-Podvrh Monastery are in progress, as well as the construction of a cable car to the Đalovića Cave. For the needs of the complex, a new substation worth EUR 1.2 million was built, with complete supporting electrical infrastructure.

The construction of a new bridge on Bistrica has begun, as part of the reconstruction of the section from Gubavač to Bistrica, and the preparation of technical documentation, as well as the construction of a visitor centre on the bank of Bistrica has also been agreed.

The implementation of this capital project will enable the creation of new jobs and give a strong impetus to the economic development of the entire northern region.
