Abazović attends dinner with leaders of Western Balkan countries

Prime Minister Dritan Abazović is attending a working dinner of the leaders of the Western Balkans within the Open Balkan Initiative in Ohrid. Prime Minister of the Republic of North Macedonia Dimitar Kovacevski, Prime Minister of Albania Edi Rama, President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić, and Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Zoran Tegeltija are also attending the dinner. The dinner was also attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of North Macedonia Bojan Maricikj and Deputy Chair of the Open Society Foundations Alexsander Soros.

Earlier today, Prime Minister Abazović met with Prime Minister of Albania Edi Rama and US Ambassador to Serbia Christopher Hill on the sidelines of the Open Balkan Initiative Summit.

The Western Balkans belongs in the EU. Montenegro, as a leader in the EU integration process, is ready to be a positive example in this process. All the most important foreign policy partners are here, wrote Prime Minister Abazović on Twitter on the occasion of the meeting with Rama and Hill.

Earlier today, Prime Minister Abazović was welcomed at the airport in Ohrid by Minister of Culture of the Republic of North Macedonia Bisera Kostadinovska Stojchevska.

During tomorrow's Summit, US Special Representative to the Western Balkans Gabriel Escobar, and EU Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Oliver Várhelyi will address the participants via a video link.
