At the invitation of the members of the European Parliament, Prime Minister Dritan Abazović spoke at a dinner organised by the European Prayer Breakfast in Brussels.

It is the duty of every government to place the protection of human rights, as the highest civilizational achievement of universal values, on a pedestal. This is precisely the message of peace, coexistence, tolerance and mutual respect that we send from Montenegro, said the Prime Minister.

Prime Minister Abazović said that when we talk about peace, we should not forget that small Montenegro provided shelter for over 10 thousand Ukrainian refugees, sharing with them their home and hope for the end of the war.

The Prime Minister will attend tomorrow's 25th anniversary of the European Prayer Breakfast at the European Parliament.

Following the prayer breakfast, Prime Minister Abazović will speak on a panel organised by Friends of Europe.

This year's EU-Western Balkans Summit is the flagship event of the Balkan Journey, which allows for an in-depth and innovative discussion on the future of the region and its relations with the EU.
