Abazović congratulates President of Swiss Confederation on National Day

Prime Minister Dritan Abazović sent a message of congratulations to President of the Swiss Confederation Ignazio Cassis on the occasion of 1 August - the National Day of the Swiss Confederation.

Dear Mr. President,

It gives me great pleasure to extend to you, on behalf of the Government of Montenegro and on my own behalf, our heartfelt congratulations on the occasion of marking 1 August - the National Day of the Swiss Confederation.

I believe that in the period ahead, we shall witness enhancing of our interstate relations and strengthening of friendly cooperation between Montenegro and Switzerland, aimed at the prosperity and well-being of our peoples.

I would like to take this opportunity to point out the importance of your country's membership in the UN Security Council for the period 2022-2023, in terms of promoting the universal values of peace and stability, which Montenegro highly appreciates and welcomes.
