Abazović congratulates Prime Minister of North Macedonia on Republic Day

Prime Minister Dritan Abazović sent a message of congratulations to Prime Minister of the Republic of North Macedonia Dimitar Kovačevski on the occasion of 2 August - the Republic Day of North Macedonia.

Dear Prime Minister,

It is my pleasure to extend to you my most heartfelt congratulations on the occasion of 2 August - the Republic Day of North Macedonia.

The tradition of our excellent bilateral relations is characterized by commitment and mutual desire for their constant upgrading and dynamization. Being Allies in NATO and advocating for a European perspective is another confirmation of the values that our countries cherish.

I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate you on the long-awaited and more than deserved opening of membership negotiations with the European Union. I believe that the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia will maintain its foreign policy course, which will also be extremely important for the entire Western Balkan region.

I avail myself of this opportunity to thank you most cordially for the kind letter of congratulations that you extended on the occasion of 13 July - the Statehood Day of Montenegro.
