Abazović, Fejzić: We are building a country of tolerance and interfaith harmony

Prime Minister Dritan Abazović hosted today Reis of the Islamic Community in Montenegro Rifat Fejzić.

Prime Minister Abazović and Reis Fejzić discussed the relations between the two institutions and future cooperation, agreeing that they are characterised by extremely good communication, openness and great mutual respect.

Reis Fejzić congratulated PM Abazović on his appointment, emphasising that having the member of a minority as the head of government is a very significant step forward for the whole society.

The Reis of the Islamic Community expressed the expectation that solutions for the development needs of the Islamic Community will be found in the coming period.

First of all, I expect support and creation of necessary preconditions for the construction of a central religious building in Podgorica, which would complete the multi-religious mosaic of the Capital City and solve the needs of Muslims, said Reis Fejzić.

Prime Minister Abazović emphasised that the Islamic Community greatly contributes to the building of the society we strive for, based on a reconciliation and multiconfessionalism.

Prime Minister thanked Reis Feizić for congratulations and added that we are building a country of tolerance, peace and justice through joint efforts.
