Abazović: Investments and new jobs expected

Prime Minister Dritan Abazović met yesterday with representatives of the company Adriatic 42 and spoke with them about redesigning the old Bijela Shipyard into a facility for overhaul, maintenance, repair and servicing of superyachts, an investment worth tens of millions of euros.

President of the Board of Directors of Adriatic 42, Captain Rade Antolović informed Prime Minister Abazović about the activities of their company so far and pointed out that the intention of Adriatic 42 is to turn the former Bijela Shipyard into a world-class destination for this type of service. He added that Bijela will be among the main locations for yacht overhaul in the world, striving to provide reliability and high technical standards for their clients.

Prime Minister Abazović expressed satisfaction with the investment of tens of millions of euros, the creation of new jobs and promotion of Montenegro as a luxury tourist destination.

Montenegro's door is open to all investors. Having in mind the geographical position, the proximity of luxury hotels where mega yacht owners come and the local tradition, Bijela is an ideal place for this investment, PM Abazović pointed out.

The Prime Minister pointed out that justice and progress always go hand in hand, adding that Government's fight against corruption and crime will additionally contribute to promoting Montenegro as a safe investment destination.
