Abazović meets representatives of South Korea's second largest conglomerate

Prime Minister Dritan Abazović met representatives of SK Group, led by Vice President of SK Group Dong Hyun Jang. Ambassador of South Korea Jaewoong Lee also attended the meeting. The meeting discussed deepening partnership, economic cooperation and possible investments.

The SK Group, South Korea's second largest conglomerate, is composed of 186 affiliate companies.

The South Korean delegation expressed its readiness to invest in Montenegro and establish close economic cooperation, as well as cooperation in other areas. The primary focus will be on renewable energy sources such as offshore wind farms, as well as floating solar power plants. Furthermore, a team of engineers shall do a preliminary study and mark the best locations for such a project.

Prime Minister Abazović emphasised our support to strengthening cooperation between the two countries, especially projects that will ensure that Montenegro remains a green destination, an ecological state and ensure energy diversification and sustainability. He reiterated that Montenegro remains open to foreign investment, stressing that in the past year it has managed to attract a record amount of FDI.
