Abazović meets representatives of Union of Free Trade Unions of Montenegro

Prime Minister of Montenegro Dritan Abazović received the delegation of the Union of Free Trade Unions of Montenegro.

The delegation of the Union of Free Trade Unions of Montenegro consisted of Secretary General of the Union of Free Trade Unions of Montenegro Srđa Keković, Deputy Secretary General of the Union of Free Trade Unions of Montenegro Ivana Mihajlović, President of the Trade Union of the Clinical Centre Nebojša Radonjić, and President of the Trade Union of Education Radomir Božović.

Prime Minister Abazović pointed out that the Government will do its best to achieve better communication with the Union of Free Trade Unions of Montenegro, which will contribute to better cooperation and support of the Government to various initiatives of the Union.

Secretary General of the Union of Free Trade Unions of Montenegro Keković pointed out that the Government is their partner with whom they want to build open and better cooperation. Deputy Secretary General of the Union of Free Trade Unions of Montenegro Ivana Mihajlović informed the Prime Minister about the initiative to establish the Labour Court as a specialised court for labour disputes, the initiative on compulsory health insurance, the lack of an institution dealing with occupational diseases, emphasising that such an Institute is necessary.

President of the Trade Union of the Clinical Centre Nebojša Radonjić informed the Prime Minister about the work and importance of the Clinical Centre in the Montenegrin health system, the needs of medical and non-medical staff in that institution, and the initiative to sign a special collective agreement with Clinical Centre of the Montenegro.

President of the Trade Union of Education Radomir Božović pointed out that education, as one of the foundations of society, has been unfairly neglected for years. Božović informed the Prime Minister about the need to change the Branch Collective Agreement in the field of education, the problem of long-term politicisation of education and the long-term repercussions it has on the education system and society as a whole.

The meeting agreed on further steps aimed at improving cooperation and taking the necessary steps towards the consideration and implementation of initiatives proposed by the Union of Free Trade Unions of Montenegro.
