Abazović meets Turkish Ambassador to Montenegro

Prime Minister Dritan Abazović hosted the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Montenegro Barış Kalkavan. Prime Minister Abazović pointed out that the consequences of the devastating earthquake that hit Türkiye did not leave anyone indifferent, that we were deeply affected by the scenes of destroyed cities, expressing confidence that, despite the tragedy, the Turkish people will eventually come out of this stronger.

On the road to recovery, Türkiye can fully count on Montenegro's support, which in the previous days, with its readiness to help, showed that two countries are more than allies, Prime Minister Abazović pointed out.

The two officials agreed that there is room for closer cooperation in the field of health, bearing in mind that a large number of Montenegrin patients visit Türkiye and the need for our patients to receive the same medical examinations and treatments in Montenegro.

Furthermore, they emphasised the readiness to improve cooperation in the field of tourism.
