Prime Minister Dritan Abazović received a farewell visit from His Excellency Shameem Ahsan, the Ambassador of the People's Republic of Bangladesh.

His Excellency emphasised Bangladesh's pride in the historical ties with Montenegro, as Montenegro, as part of the former Yugoslavia, was among the first countries to recognise the independence of Bangladesh in 1971.

With a population of 170 million, Bangladesh is open to trade and other forms of cooperation with Montenegro, particularly in the fields of medicine, pharmaceuticals, and ICT.

Prime Minister Abazović expressed his anticipation of future collaboration and highlighted significant opportunities for robust trade exchanges, imports, and exports of goods and services with this Asian country.

He emphasised that Montenegro has a very open labor market, welcoming anyone who wishes to work and contribute to Montenegro.
