Consultations with diplomatic and consular representatives of Montenegro held

Prime Minister Zdravko Krivokapić, State Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ljubomir Mišurović and Secretary General in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Milica Perišić held the second round of consultations with ambassadors today.

The meeting was attended by Ambassadors Aleksandar Moštrokol (Hungary), Goran Poleksić (Romania), Milorad Šćepanović (Russia), Dragica Ponorac (Ukraine), Ivan Ivanišević (France), Periša Kastratović (Turkey), Ivan Leković (Belgium), Head of the Permanent Mission to NATO (Belgium) Dubravka Lalović, as well as Consuls General Željko Stamatović (USA-New York) and Ivana Đukanović (Germany-Frankfurt).

The consultations discussed the priorities and professionalization of the diplomatic service, with a focus on strengthening economic diplomacy, intensifying the European integration process, as well as improving bilateral and multilateral cooperation in line with Montenegro's foreign policy priorities.

After the meeting, the Ambassadors, the Head of the Permanent Mission to NATO and the Consuls General will return to the host countries where they will continue to perform their duties.
