Cybersecurity Agency hosts Delegation from the Embassy of the Republic of Italy

The Cybersecurity Agency hosted a delegation from the Embassy of the Republic of Italy, led by Ambassador H.E. Andreina Marsela and Deputy Ambassador Silvia Margareta Staffa.
During the meeting, discussions focused on strengthening institutional cooperation in the field of cybersecurity and exchanging experiences and best practices. Opportunities for future support and joint initiatives aimed at enhancing resilience to cyber threats were also explored. Special attention was given to the initiative to sign a cooperation memorandum with the Italian Cyber Security Agency, with a focus on strengthening human capacities and developing long-term cooperation, which is considered essential in today’s security environment.
The Agency’s Acting Director, Samir Orahovac, and the Chairman of the Council, Jovan Kljajić, briefed the Italian delegation on the Agency’s mandate, priorities, and planned activities, with particular emphasis on developing national capacities, protecting critical infrastructure, and strengthening international cooperation.
This visit marks the first official visit to the Cyber Security Agency since its establishment and confirms the mutual readiness to further enhance partnership and cooperation in the field of cyber security.
The Acting Director and the Chairman of the Council expressed their gratitude to the Embassy of the Republic of Italy for the visit and the interest shown, expressing confidence that this meeting will pave the way for concrete and meaningful forms of cooperation in the period ahead.
