Health care for particularly sensitive and vulnerable groups of population

Different population groups and categories of the population have their own specific health needs that are met in a special manner. Population groups with specific health needs in relation to age, sex, work status, disability and social status are: infants, preschool and school children, young people, the elderly, women of reproductive age, working population, people with disabilities and socially vulnerable and marginalized groups.

The main goals of health care for particularly sensitive and vulnerable groups are:

-           improving the health of women of reproductive age,

-           improving the health of infants, preschool, school children and youth,

-           improving and preserving the health of the elderly,

-           improving and preserving the health of persons with disabilities,

-           improving and preserving the health of socially disadvantaged and marginalized groups of the population,

-           improving and preserving the health of employees.
