Deputy Prime Minister Ervin Ibrahimović met with Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Montenegro Artur Dmochowski. Ambassador Dmochowski congratulated Ibrahimović on his appointment as Deputy Prime Minister for Regional Development and Minister of Capital Investments.

The Ambassador expressed support for Montenegro's EU integration process, expressing expectation that the Montenegrin administration would act faster and make progess during the mandate of the new Government.

I have repeated several times so far that Montenegro's EU integration remains a firm priority of the new Government, and the support of friendly Poland towards that goal is extremely important to us. This region is important for the EU, a stable Western Balkans is important for a stable European Union, said DPM Ibrahimović, stressing the good bilateral relations between the two countries.

There is room for strengthening economic cooperation, there are potentials for investing in the development of renewable energy sources, and these are projects we need to discuss, said Ibrahimović.

The two officials also spoke about companies that are already doing business in Montenegro, the challenges they face in the business environment, the need to create conditions that would bring benefits to foreign investors and the state.
