Ibrahimović meets Kos in Bled: Montenegro committed to concluding accession negotiations

On the sidelines of the Bled Strategic Forum, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ervin Ibrahimović met with European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos.

They discussed Montenegro’s European path and the EU enlargement process. Ibrahimović reiterated Montenegro’s strong commitment to reforms and its ambition to conclude accession negotiations, stressing that progress should be assessed on the basis of individual merits.

During the meeting, the European Commission’s support for Montenegro’s efforts to conclude the negotiation process within the envisaged timeframe and continue advancing towards EU membership was also highlighted.

Montenegro remains strongly committed to its European future and its goal of becoming the next member of the European Union.
