Minister Milatović to participate in Economic Forum in Poland

Minister of Economic Development Jakov Milatović will participate in the 30th Economic Forum in Karpacz, Poland from 7 to 9 September, organised by the Institute for Eastern Studies on the topic "Europe in search of leadership".

Minister Milatović will take part in the Panel "Infrastructure Development - The Road to Closer Cooperation and Strengthening the Common Market Not Only in the Balkans", which will be addressed by Ministers of Transport of Poland and Slovenia, Andrzej Adamczyk and Jernej Vrtovec.

This forum is the most important and largest political and economic forum in Central and Eastern Europe and has been organised for almost three decades, and is a valuable opportunity to promote cooperation and dialogue between countries, with a focus on economic and social issues. The aim of this Forum is to create a favourable climate for the development of political and economic cooperation between EU Member States and their neighbours.

The Forum will be attended by senior officials, politicians, businessmen and academics from Europe, Asia, America and the Middle East, and the panels will be followed by more than 600 journalists from Europe.

During the Forum, the Minister will have numerous bilateral meetings.
