Montenegrin delegation to take part in WHO conference in Moscow

Minister of Health Jelena Borovinić Bojović will lead the Montenegrin delegation during a two-day visit to Moscow, where an international conference of the World Health Organization is being held on 14 and 15 December.

The conference aims to unpack the public health benefits and deficits of emerging technologies and provide an evidence base for their broad-scale adoption in combating noncommunicable diseases (NCDs).

The conference aims are threefold: to identify how the challenges to NCD response brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic can be addressed through digital solutions; to disseminate good practices and innovations in the use of digital health for surveillance, prevention and control of NCDs; and to determine how WHO can support countries in successfully implementing digital health solutions for NCDs and build back better in the face of the pandemic.
