Montenegro to launch space programme

Prime Minister Dritan Abazović met Nina Drakulić, Nikola Perović, and Filip Jovićević, young Montenegrin innovators and representatives of the Montenegro Space Research organisation, who initiated the project to launch the first Montenegrin satellite Luča.

Prime Minister Abazović pointed out that Montenegro wants to have its own space programme that will be launched by our young people, scientists and innovators. Abazović emphasised that the Government of Montenegro, through the Innovation Fund, wants to encourage young people to create innovations, stating that they are "icebreakers" in our society who should change the economic, educational and scientific image of Montenegro.

We are launching the Montenegrin space programme, we stand behind our innovators who are developing the Luča satellite, PM Abazović stressed.
