Adviser to the Deputy Prime Minister Filip Adžić hosted today President of the Muslim Council of Montenegro Sabrija Vulić.

Adžić and Vulić discussed the position of Muslims as a national minority in Montenegro, which still lacks political representatives in state and local parliaments.

Expressing satisfaction with the meeting with the President of the Muslim Council of Montenegro, Adžić pointed out that he sees it as another step forward in improving common life in Montenegro.

The door of the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister is open to every well-meaning citizen, regardless of their religious, national or any other affiliation. Our task is to work on improving mutual relations, as well as on creating a more favourable social and political environment in Montenegro. Montenegro's Muslims are one of the strongest pillars of our state and must be inevitable partners of any government that works in the interest of the state and citizens. Montenegro's Muslims are an indispensable part of multiethnic and multi-religious Montenegro, Adžić pointed out.
