Prime Minister Dritan Abazović and some Cabinet ministers attended the 14th session of the Women's Parliament.

The Prime Minister said that the Government wil always provide support and added that the Office for Gender Equality will be established soon. Although this alone is not sufficient, it is a good start. I invite you all to work together to promote healthy and good policies when it comes to gender equality and promotion of universal values and human rights, said PM Abazović.

Speaking about the number of women in the 43rd Government of Montenegro, the Prime Minister pointed out that he accepts criticism that there is no satisfactory number of women, adding that quantity is not everything. I think that the pyramid of power is slowly changing and showing a new side of Montenegro that shows that this country is changing its political culture and practice, and I hope that their commitment will show that society is truly transforming as it should, said PM Abazović.

The Prime Minister pointed out that it was important for him to see a lot of men at the session of the Women's Parliament, stating that it sends a good message, bearing in mind that men, unlike women, did not work enough on gender equality.

I call on all ministers to work as closely as possible with the Women's MP Group and the Parliament of Montenegro to achieve something for the benefit of the whole society. If there is one issue on which those gathered here are not divided, it is the issue of gender policies. We have a broad consensus on this and let's do the right things, said PM Abazović.
