Prime Minister Zdravko Krivokapić and President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen visited the Institute of Public Health, where the President of the European Commission delivered a valuable donation, a fully automated PCR mass testing device produced by the renowned manufacturer Roche diagnostics.

Together with Director of the Institute of Public Health Igor Galić, they visited the laboratory for molecular diagnostics. The donated device, which is the first of its kind in Montenegro, fully automates and integrates the testing process from primary sample to result.

The device was procured through a tender announced by the Delegation of the European Union to Montenegro for the procurement of laboratory equipment, tests and consumables. The total value of the donation with tests and consumables is 659,994 euros.

Prime Minister Krivokapić thanked for the significant donation, emphasising the fact that the EU is the largest donor and investor in Montenegro.
