PM Krivokapić meets with newly appointed Qatari Ambassador

Prime Minister Zdravko Krivokapić hosted the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Qatar to Montenegro Faris Roumi Mohammed Shaheen Al Nuaimi.

Prime Minister Krivokapić said that Montenegro and Qatar are continuously developing friendly relations based on understanding, openness and the need to expand cooperation, especially in the field of economy, sustainable development and tourism.

Prime Minister Krivokapić acquainted the Ambassador with the first visible, significant and undoubted results of social and economic reform, which were achieved with the special efforts of the Government in the past year. Krivokapić pointed out that the successes achieved with the implementation of the "Europe Now" programme are just the beginning and a good basis for economic prosperity and membership in the European Union, which is Government's goal and is supported by 80 percent of Montenegrin citizens.

The Ambassador of Qatar thanked for the warm welcome and conveyed the message of the State of Qatar to the Prime Minister of Montenegro that good diplomatic cooperation should be even more intensive in the field of economic cooperation. The Ambassador said that he admires Montenegro's beauty and looks forward to future cooperation.
