PUBLIC CALL FOR THE SELECTION OF INDEPENDENT MEMBERS OF THE MANAGEMENT BOARD OF THE CREDIT-GUARANTEE FUND OF MONTENEGRO

According to Article 20 of the Law on the Credit-Guarantee Fund of Montenegro and the Decision of the Government of Montenegro no. 11-011/25-3553/3 from October 16, 2025, the Ministry of Economic Development is issuing a Public Call for the selection of three independent members of the Management Board (i.e. Non-Executive Directors) of the Credit-Guarantee Fund of Montenegro.

The Credit Guarantee Fund of Montenegro is a newly established independent and non-profit institution founded by the Government of Montenegro to improve access to finance for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises. Its mission is to stimulate lending to local businesses and foster economic growth and job creation by providing loan guarantees to financial institutions in Montenegro.

This public call refers to the selection of independent members who, through their experience and expertise, will ensure independent oversight and strategic leadership for the management and strengthening of the Fund's capacity in the following areas:

banking or finance;

accounting or auditing;

business law or commercial law.

The call for applications is open to all interested candidates who meet the requirements and criteria defined in Article 22 of the Law on the Credit-Guarantee Fund of Montenegro.

Interested candidates should submit the following by November 7, 2025, by 3:00 p.m., Montenegro time

motivation cover letter (include which of three position applying for);

biography (CV/resume);

at least three professional references, each with: (name of the reference, title of reference, organization, relationship to candidate, telephone number and email address),

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview prior to the final selection decision by the Selection Committee, formed by the Government’s decision no. 11-011/25-3297/2 from October 2, 2025.
