The National CERT of Serbia hosted a two-day visit on April 10 and 11, 2025, which included representatives from national and governmental CIRTs (Computer Incident Response Teams) from Montenegro, Albania, and Cyprus. This event was organized by the Geneva Centre for Security Sector Management (DCAF) as part of the project "WB6-EU Cooperation for Improving Cybersecurity in the Western Balkans." The project receives support from the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) and the Federal Foreign Office of Germany.

The objective of the visit was to facilitate knowledge and information exchange on current issues in cybersecurity, institutional frameworks, and the significance of regional cooperation in incident management and monitoring cyber threats. Participants discussed the latest trends in cybersecurity, shared experiences and best practices, and provided information regarding the tools and projects they are working on. The visit also aimed to strengthen existing institutional ties and establish new connections. A highlight of the program was a practical exercise on the CyberBit platform, conducted by experts from SRB-CERT.

This visit is another important step towards strengthening regional cooperation and building the capacity of national and government CIRTs to respond more effectively to cyber threats.
