Registration in the BRC and CRC
An application for the registration of a child born in a foreign country whose parents are Montenegrin citizens shall be submitted to the competent diplomatic or consular mission.

As part of the request, person should submit the following original documentation:
- Completed application form for registration in the Birth Registry (BRC) and Citizenship Registry (CRC) of Montenegro;
- Extract from the BRC on an international form;
- Extract from the parents' Marriage Registry (MRV) if they are married;
- Copies of biometric passports of both parents/certificate of Montenegrin citizenship;
- Valid residence permit.
