Session of the National Security Council was held: Zeković is the new Secretary

Prime Minister Milojko Spajić, MSc, chaired the session of the National Security Council, where, in addition to decisions on appointments, the current security situation in the country was discussed.

At the Council session, it was decided to appoint Aleksa Bečić, MSc, Deputy Prime Minister for Security, Internal Policy, European and Foreign Affairs, as the Coordinator of the Bureau for Operational Coordination.

Jelena Maraš was dismissed from the post of Secretary of the National Security Council, and Miroslav Zeković was appointed to the same position.

During the 42nd Government, Zeković held the position of Director-General in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, while he had been engaged in several positions in the security sector before that (Ministry of Defense and Ministry of Internal Affairs).
