Students from Montenegro at the regional Western Balkans Cyber Camp

Students from Western Balkan countries, including representatives from Montenegro, took part in the Western Balkans Cyber Camp, held from 16 to 18 May 2025 in Durres, Albania. The event aimed to bring together students, university representatives, and CIRT teams from the Western Balkans region to enhance the knowledge of young individuals interested in cybersecurity and ICT.

The event aimed to establish a regional network of young cyber experts who will cooperate and contribute to strengthening the cybersecurity of our region in the future. Through the simulation of cyber attacks on the Cyber Drill platform, students had the opportunity to practically apply their knowledge and develop skills to solve cybersecurity challenges.

This event was organized by the National Cybersecurity Authority (AKSK) of Albania with the support of the OSCE Presence in Albania, GIZ, the Western Balkans Cyber Capacity Centre (WB3C), e-Governance Academy and EU-funded projects.

Upon the conclusion of the Cyber Camp, all participants received certificates.
