The Montenegrin Cabinet, at today's 26th session, chaired by Prime Minister Dritan Abazović, adopted the Information on the issue of treasury bills, with the aim of securing part of the missing funds for financing the budget for 2022 and creating a fiscal reserve. The Information refers to the implementation of the Decision on the borrowing of Montenegro for 2022, according to which the State can borrow up to 350 million euros for the needs of financing the deficit in 2022 and creating a fiscal reserve.

The Cabinet adopted the Information on the application of Article 81 of the Law on Foreigners (issuance of temporary residence and work permit for seasonal employment to the Ministry, through diplomatic or consular mission in the country of origin). As this provision exclusively refers to the issuance of temporary residence and work permit for seasonal employment, and given that it was not applied in practice, i.e. no technical prerequisites were created for it, the Cabinet tasked the Ministry of the Interior to prepare a draft law on amendments to the Law on Foreigners, which will contain a proposal of activities aimed at solving the way of issuing permits for temporary residence and work permit for seasonal employment.

The Cabinet adopted the Information on key activities related to the IPA III financial perspective and the first programmes under the indirect management model, for the period 2021-2027.
