WARNING - Phishing campaigns targeting bank users

CIRT warns the public about an active phishing campaign targeting CKB Bank users. Reports indicate that fraudulent emails are being sent by individuals impersonating bank employees. These emails claim that a payment document requested by the customer is attached; however, this is a scam. Opening the attachment may result in unauthorized access to your data or the installation of malicious software.

We strongly recommend the following precautions:

• Do not reply to suspicious messages.

• Carefully verify the sender’s email address.

• Avoid opening attachments or clicking links in suspicious emails.

• Review the email content for grammatical errors, which are common in phishing attempts.
