Prime Minister Milojko Spajić met with representatives of the Student Parliament of the University of Montenegro to mark the institution's 20th anniversary and Student Day.

The meeting underscored the significance of the student community in Montenegro's social and academic life.

Recognising the contribution students make to the country's social and economic development, the Prime Minister emphasised the importance of their voice in decision-making processes and expressed full support for efforts to improve the educational system and create better conditions for studying.

It was highlighted in the discussion that young people are agents of change and a crucial factor in achieving progress and development in the country. The Government will continue constructive dialogue with the student community to build a better European future for Montenegro.

Prime Minister Spajić advised the students not to fear testing their ideas and to work hard, primarily on themselves, emphasising that this would bring valuable experience necessary for making informed decisions in the future.

During the meeting, various topics of interest to students were discussed, including existing legal solutions, student standards, employment opportunities after graduation, and issues related to student activism and participation.

The importance of providing opportunities for students to work during their studies, considering the need to gain practical experience and develop professional skills, was also addressed. The Government, as noted by Prime Minister Spajić, will actively work to create a favourable environment for youth employment to ensure that every student has the opportunity to fulfill their full potential.
