CIRT (Computer Incident Response Team) is responsible for responding to computer security incidents in cyberspace of Montenegro, in accordance with the Law on Data Confidentiality and the Law on Information Security. It was established in 2012 as a joint project between the Government of Montenegro and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU). Since its inception, CIRT has successfully resolved or assisted in resolving a significant number of national and international computer incidents.
