Abazović to lead Montenegrin delegation to Venice Biennale opening ceremony

At the invitation of the President of the Venice Biennale Roberto Cicutto and Artistic Director Cecilia Alemani, Deputy Prime Minister Dritan Abazović will lead the Montenegrin delegation that will participate in the opening ceremony of the 59th Venice Biennale, which will be held from 21 to 23 April 2022.

Abazović will attend the grand opening of the Montenegrin pavilion, which will be held tonight in Palazzo Malipiero, but will also visit the pavilions of other countries participating in this year's Biennale.

The Venice Biennale is one of the most prestigious art events in the world. This year's Biennale brings together about 80 countries, including the United States, Germany, France, Belgium, Italy, China, Japan, Canada, but also neighbouring countries, such as Serbia, Croatia and Albania.
