Coordination Meeting on Critical Infrastructure

An event focused on strengthening critical information infrastructure, organized by the Ministry of Public Administration and DCAF, brought together representatives from the Cyber Security Agency, key domestic stakeholders, and international partners.

Minister of Public Administration, Mr. Marash Dukaj, emphasized that cybersecurity is a top priority for both national security and European integration. He noted that Montenegro is not only adhering to global standards but is also emerging as a credible pillar of digital stability in the region. In her opening remarks, the British Ambassador to Montenegro, Dawn McKen, highlighted the strong international support for enhancing cyber resilience.

Representatives of the Cyber Security Agency explained that the Agency was recently established to operationally connect all actors involved in critical infrastructure. Its primary role is to protect critical information systems, while also supporting and coordinating essential stakeholders to bolster the country’s cyber resilience.

Strategic directions and plans were presented, highlighting that true success relies not only on technology and regulations but on the active involvement of people and decision-makers.
