Europass Digital Credentials system to be established at the national level

Through the Erasmus+ project Career Guidance, Europass & Qualifications Development (CGEQD), the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation is implementing activities aimed at establishing the Europass Digital Credentials system at the national level. The system enables the issuance and exchange of digital certificates related to qualifications, diplomas, certificates and other educational achievements in a secure and standardised format.
The introduction of Europass Digital Credentials represents an important step towards the digital transformation of the education system, enabling easier verification of document authenticity, faster information exchange and greater transparency of qualifications. The digital format facilitates the use and accessibility of educational records in both national and international educational and professional contexts.
The development and implementation of this system also contribute to aligning national education and qualification policies with European initiatives and standards, particularly in the areas of qualification transparency and citizen mobility. This creates a reliable framework for modernising the way educational documents are issued and used in Montenegro.
The Career Guidance, Europass & Qualifications Development (CGEQD) project is co-funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ programme.
