Gjeloshaj opens the RE:D conference in Budva

Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Policy and Minister of Economic Development Nik Gjeloshaj officially opened the RE:D conference in Budva today, dedicated to the development of the investment environment, the real estate market, and tourism in Montenegro.

Speaking at the opening of the conference, Gjeloshaj emphasized the importance of creating an environment that provides investors with security, predictability, and efficiency, while offering citizens new opportunities for a better quality of life and professional development.
Our goal is not only to attract investments, but to attract responsible investments – those that generate long-term value, bring new knowledge, modern standards, and sustainable development to local communities, Gjeloshaj stated.
He stressed that the real estate market and tourism play an important role in Montenegro’s economic development.
Our responsibility is to ensure that development is carefully planned, aligned with infrastructure capacities and sustainability principles, while preserving natural resources and the identity of the area, Gjeloshaj added.
The RE:D conference brought together representatives of institutions, the business community, investors, and experts in the fields of tourism and real estate development.
