Today, Minister of Foreign Affairs Djordje Radulovic addressed the participants of the Summer School for Young Diplomats "Gavro Vukovic", telling them to stay connected, and that this is an opportunity to build long-term ties and create a network of diplomats from all over the world.

The head of Montenegrin diplomacy shared his experience from the Summer School, which he attended ten years ago, at the beginning of his diplomatic career, which, as he pointed out, motivated him to constantly acquire new knowledge and build relations with colleagues from all over the world.

I am especially pleased that today I am in a position to empower the new generation of diplomats to stay connected and shape the future - said Minister Radulovic, adding that diplomats have a special responsibility when it comes to strengthening trust and dialogue.

During today's session, NATO Deputy Secretary General Mircea Geoană also addressed the participants, emphasizing the importance and role of the Alliance in responding to numerous challenges.

Just as NATO can count on Montenegro, so Montenegro can count on NATO. At the NATO summit, we agreed on an ambitious agenda to ensure that our strong Alliance remains capable of current and future challenges, Geoană said.

The partner in the organization of the Summer School for Young Diplomats "Gavro Vukovic" since 2008 is the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Montenegro, and since this year the School has been supported by the NATO Department of Public Diplomacy. The Summer School program, which covers various topics in the field of diplomacy and international relations, will last until July 9.
