Participation in the regional workshop “Cybersecurity for a Resilient Digital Future”

A representative of the Cybersecurity Agency of Montenegro participated in the regional workshop “Cybersecurity for a Resilient Digital Future”, held on 3–4 June 2026 in Bratislava, Slovakia.
The workshop brought together more than 30 representatives from cybersecurity authorities, energy institutions, and critical infrastructure stakeholders from Montenegro, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Moldova, North Macedonia, and Slovakia, with the aim of strengthening the energy sector's resilience against growing cyber threats.
Participants had the opportunity to learn about the Slovak approach to cybersecurity in the energy sector and explore Slovak models of public–private partnerships. Topics presented by Slovak experts included the latest cybersecurity developments, the European Union’s NIS2 Directive, critical infrastructure protection, and the impact of artificial intelligence on cybersecurity.
The workshop provided a valuable opportunity to exchange experiences and learn from good practices in European Union member states in the field of critical infrastructure protection, while further strengthening regional cooperation to address shared cybersecurity challenges.
