About the Project - Support to the Montenegrin Eurydice National Unit

In line with the European Commissions’ strategic and policy level developments in the area of education, the Eurydice Networks has been, since it’s establishment, developing it’s work in order to support and facilitate the implementation of these policy actions, as well as the set objectives. In that sense, the overall objective of the Eurydice Network is to support mutual understanding and educational cooperation among member states.

On the other hand, the specific goal would be to direct policy makers and those responsible for the education systems towards undertaking the necessary reforms. In this context, the aim of participation of the Montenegrin National Unit in the Network is to contribute to the overall and specific objectives of the Network and thereby, support the Commissions’ actions, but nonetheless create conditions for the improvement of the Montenegrin education system in line with the EU integration requirements.

The National Unit will be doing so by providing up-to-date and relevant information related to the organization of the education system at all levels of education, on reforms taking place, as well as accompanying official documents, such as laws, strategies, regulations, etc. Furthermore, in line with its Communication Strategy, the Unit will promote the Eurydice products at national level, not only to the relevant stakeholders, but also to the general public, by pro-actively contributing to the understanding of the importance of the membership to such a Network.

Finally, by taking part in quality assurance activities and by participating in the meetings, the NU members will be able to share good practice examples and thereby, contribute to the overall improvement and work of the Network.
