Farewell visit of Ambassador Reinke: Confirmation of the strong partnership between Montenegro and the United States

Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Policy and Minister of Economic Development Nik Gjeloshaj received the Ambassador of the United States of America to Montenegro, H.E. Judy Rising Reinke, on a farewell visit.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister Gjeloshaj thanked Ambassador Reinke for her dedicated work in strengthening bilateral relations between Montenegro and the United States, particularly in the area of economic dialogue and cooperation.

The signing of the Memorandum of Economic Cooperation with the United States represents a key aspect of our joint efforts to improve the investment climate and stimulate economic development. The importance of the Memorandum lies in the fact that it opens new opportunities for trade, investment, and joint projects that contribute to the prosperity of our countries, said Gjeloshaj.

Ambassador Reinke praised the development of bilateral relations, emphasizing the importance of further intensifying and deepening economic ties between Montenegro and the United States.

In addition to the State Secretary at the Ministry of Economic Development, Ms. Ana Raičević, the meeting was also attended by Ms. Alice Holder, Director of INL, and Ms. Shelbie Legg, Head of Political and Economic Section at the U.S. Embassy.
