Law on Legalization: A Major Task Ahead for the Real Estate Administration

In the “Okvir” on TVCG, broadcast on September 5, 2025, the Director of the Real Estate Administration, Marko Bulatović MSc, was a guest together with Ms. Marina Izgarević Pavićević (Ministry of Spatial Planning), Ms. Marija Kljajić (Union of Municipalities), and Mr. Stefan Mišković (Association of Real Estate Agencies). The discussion focused on the challenges related to the implementation of the Law on Legalization.

Mr. Bulatović stressed that this is a substantial undertaking, in which the technical and human capacities of the Administration will be a limiting factor, given the need to certify technical reports, verify cadastral records, and align procedures with spatial plans — all of which require time.

He added that the process will be carried out gradually and on a continuous basis - all applications will be duly received and recorded, while decisions on their acceptance will be made in line with the applicable procedures.
