WARNING - Phishing campaigns targeting social media users

CIRT brings to your attention an ongoing phishing campaign that targets social media users. Users receive a message with an offer to purchase an expensive product at a greatly reduced price in exchange for providing personal information such as their name, surname, and card details.

To protect yourself from scams, please follow these guidelines:

• Never respond to suspicious messages
• Do not open links from suspicious messages
• Take the time to carefully read the contents of messages, as phishing messages often contain grammatical errors

Please note that reputable institutions or companies never request confidential information or documents via social media.
